Hey all, I just found out that some of my posts show up kind of wonky in Google Reader when they have a lot of pictures. I’m not sure if that is the case for all feed readers or not. I should have checked sooner because I know some posts I get from others in my Reader are wonky too. I do my posts in Windows Live Writer, not sure if that has anything to do with it or not(curious if others just do theirs on the blog websites or use something else). So if this happens to you just click on the post to read it in my blog instead .

I use the Google Reader Next button, and I've never had problems with your blog posts showing up funny. Then again, it does take me straight to your blog, so maybe this comment was unnecessary, haha! I also use Windows Live Writer to write my posts, and no one has ever complained to me that my posts show up funny for them.
ReplyDeleteThank you Angela! Hopefully it was just a single issue because I like using WLW, so would hate it if it was causing any issues with posts.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually read blogs in google reader, I just click and go to the actual blogs. No idea how to fix that picture issue? I use blogger to write my posts...and I kinda hate it, I've spent way too much time fighting with pictures to go where I want them....maybe I should try Windows Live writer, lol. Is it easier?

I use Google Reader for reading blogs because I read so many, otherwise I would only get to read a few a day, with Reader I can skim through all of them.
ReplyDeleteI like Windows Live Writer, I used it when I blogged before too when a friend introduced me to it. It took a little getting used to, but I love it and find I have so much more control over how the post looks, I can do some things in there all at the same time as doing my post that I otherwise would probably have to load a graphics program to do.
I should try to remember to use google reader when I have time, I follow so many blogs, I never get to read all of them, lol. I downloaded Windows Live Writer the other day after reading this. I'll have to figure out how to use it one day soon, sounds like it's better than blogger's editor thing. :)
ReplyDeleteIt definitely helps to be able to keep up with blogs, the only negative is to comment you have to click on the post to open it up on their blog. It's easy to get lazy and not comment as much as you would like because of that.
